leave from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain, heading to Piazza della Repubblica, previously known as "dell'Esedra" as its central area also called esedra of the Diocletian Baths is hidden now by the Fountain of Naiadi. We will continue towards Via Piemonte, the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Via Nazionale. after this ample view of an important part of the city, the guided tour will lead to the Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel, and to the Pantheon, originally a pagan temple, which will be visited. we will head to Palazzo Madama, seat of the senate of the Repubblic, to finally get to the gorgeus Piazza Navona, built on the rouins of the Domitian's circus. Then you will have the chance to admire Castel Sant'Angelo and to visit the St.Peter's Basilica. |

With this tour you will enjoy the splendour of the classic Roman Empire. Leaving Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses Fountain, we will head to Piazza della Repubblica and running along Via Nazionale we will arrive in Piazza Venezia. Crossing the square we will leave on one side the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After this ample view of an important part of the city, the guided tour will take you to visit the square of the Capitol, the result of Michelangelos archi-tectonic and magic genius. Simple but stately, the square is the seat of Rome Town Hall, from here you will enjoy the unique sight of the Forum and of the Palatine Hill with a view of the massive structure of the Colosseum.
We will then walk along the ancient pavement, which crosses the evocative ruins of the Roman Forum, the Curia, the Reggia. You will then admire the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Costantine. The Rome tour continues towards the Circus Maximus, the Aventine Hill and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, ending up with the visit of the Basilica of St. Pauls outside the Walls. |

The purpose of this Rome tour is the visit of the Vatican Museums.
Leaving the Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses Fountain, we will head to Piazza della Repubblica, with the Fountain of Naiadi in the middle. Then the itinerary will con-tinue, passing by Via Piemonte, the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, the Muro Torto and the Villa Borghese. After this ample view of an important part of the city, we will visit the Vatican Museums and the Vatican Galleries.
You will then admire the modern entrance built for the Jubilee 2000, the Galeries of the Chandeliers, of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the immaculate Conception Hall. We will then stop to admire the Sistine Chapel frescoed by Michelangelo to end up in the Ancient Vatican Library. |

Leaving from Piazza San Bernardo, crossing Piazza della Repubblica, we will run along Via Nazionale to end up visiting the Basilica of St.Mary Major, built on the Esquiline Hill in 352 A.D. The tour will then continue visiting the Basilica of St.John in Lateran, cathedral of Rome and of the world. Hence, we will go to the Holy Stairs, climbed by Jesus Christ to reach Pilates Palace. From here the tour will start again by coach, crossing Piazza San Giovanni and Via Latina.
Skirting along the Mura Latine, this Rome tour will pass through the Porta di San Sebastiano to arrive on the Ancient Appian Way, where we will find the Chapel of "Domine Quo Vadis". We arrive finally at the Catacombs of St.Callixtus, where the visit will take about 45 minutes (on Wednesdays the visit will be at the Catacombs of St.Domitilla). On the way back, from the coach you will have a view of the Caracalla Baths.

Leaving from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountaine, heading to Piazza della Repubblica, we will pass by Via Veneto, Palazzo Margherita, Porta Pinciana, villa Borghese, Piazzale Flaminio, via Flaminia, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Augusto Imperatore, Via del Corso to arrive at the The Trevi Foutain, where we will stop for a visit.
We will then continue along Via Quattro fontane, where you will be amazed by the fountains of the Four Seasons. From Via Nazionale, descending towards Piazza Venezia, we will see the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of Unknow Soldier.The itinerary will also touch the Capitol, the Imperial Forum the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Aventine Hill, the Circus Maximus the sinagogue. From Trastevere we will then go up the Gianicolo Hill, a privileged point, for panoramicv view of the city. On the way back we will pass by Castel Sant'Angelo, St'Peter's Basilica.

We will leave Piazza San Bernardo adorned by Moses' Fountain, passing by Piazza della Repubblica. Along the way we will admire the Caracall baths, the arch of Constantine and the Colosseum: this itinerary will take us on the Appia, passing under the Porta di San Sebastiano (this is the route used by the ancient Romans, who were going to the Castelli in the summer to enjoy the fresh breeze).
Passing through Castelgandolfo, historical and today's summer residence of the Pope, we will arrive in Albano and then Ariccia. From the large bridge of Ariccia one can admire a wonderful view of the hills and countryside. We will pass through Genzano, Nemi, Rocca di Papa, Grottaferrata and Frascati, going along the Via dei Laghi. Once in Frascati, there will be a stop to state and enjoy the typical wines of this area. |

After leaving Rome and driving along the Sun Route motorway, we will cross the regions of Lazio and Campania. From the road you will enjoy the view of the famous Abbey of Montecassino. Once in Naples, there will be a short panoramic tour of the city, before embark-ing for Capri.
On arrival, weather permitting, we will enjoy a visit of the Blue Grotto, by rowing boats. On the way back, from the harbour of Marina Grande, we will go to Anacapri, a tiny and picturesque mediterranean-style village with a wonderful view on the whole Gulf of Naples. Lunch break in a typical restaurant. |
| Please note: in case of adverse weather conditions, should the crossing to Capri be impossible, the visit will be replaced by the tour 13 (Pompeii one day), with the refund of theprice difference between the two tours. |
